UK PLUS PASS

What is a UK Plus Pass?
The phrase “UK Plus Pass” is used to describe a group of bundles offered by Lebara. There are a number of different bundles in the UK Plus Pass family which are differentiated by the amount of minutes or data offered in each – for example, the UK Plus 150 Pass includes 150 UK minutes whereas the UK Plus 500 Pass includes 500 UK minutes.

What Are the Different Passes Available in the UK Plus Pass Family?
There are five different UK Plus Passes: the UK Plus £7.95 Pass, the UK Plus £10 Pass, the UK Plus £12 Pass, UK Plus £15 Pass and the UK Plus £17 Pass.

The following table describes the cost of each type of UK Plus Pass and what each pass includes in terms of UK minutes, data and so forth:

* UK minutes can be used to call UK landlines and mobiles only which are calls to numbers beginning with 01, 02, 03 (excluding the Channel Islands and Isle of Man), and 07. UK calls do not include calls to 0800, 0845 or other "toll-free" numbers or calls to Personal (070) numbers.

** Data allowances are for use in the UK only; data roaming charges will be applied if travelling abroad.

What other great advantages come with a UK Plus Pass?
Aside from the great UK minute and data offers under each specific UK Plus Pass, every UK Plus bundle also comes with:

  1. UNLIMITED texts to UK mobiles.
    • a. Does not include Premium SMS or SMS to Personal (070) numbers.
    • b. Subject to no naughty abuse of our offer, see the Legal Stuff below for more information.
  2. UNLIMITED call minutes and texts to other Lebara UK mobiles.
    • a. Subject to a fair use practices of our offer, see the Legal Stuff below for more information.
  3. DISCOUNTED RATES to applicable international destinations (discounted international rates can be found by clicking here).

How long is each UK Plus Pass valid for?
Irrespective of the UK Plus Pass you choose, each pass is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of activation.

How can I get my hands on a UK Plus Pass?
You can buy a Lebara UK Plus Pass by SMS texting the corresponding opt-in code (from the table above) to 38885.

Can I set my UK Plus Pass up so that it renews automatically?
Yes, if you buy any UK Plus Pass it will attempt to renew automatically after 30 days.

To opt-out of auto-renewal you must text the corresponding opt-out code (from the table above) to 38885 by 21:00 hours (GMT) on the 30th day.

The Legal Stuff
You can only have one Lebara UK Plus Pass, UK Data Pass, UK SIM Pass or Freedom Pass active at any one time.

Promotional call credit cannot be used to buy a Lebara UK Plus Pass and no cash alternatives or alternative credits will be given.

Any or all of the UK Plus Passes may be withdrawn or changed at any time, be it in full or in part, at the absolute discretion of Lebara. Full notice will be provided on our website if changes are made.

Lebara reserves the right in its absolute discretion, including where it considers there to have been, and/or there is a suspicion of, any breach of these terms and conditions, any fraud or any abuse of the service, to terminate suspected illegitimate services.

To clarify, we (Lebara) offer our products and services (including all Lebara UK Plus Passes) for use by private individual use only (i.e. not for business or commercial use). As such, you must not use our services in any way that is not in keeping with that reasonably expected of a private individual.

You are liable for all use of all accounts in your name, irrespective of use without your knowledge and/or consent.

Further, you must not use our services in any way that is unlawful or illegal or in any way to the detriment of other users. You also must not allow anybody using our services provided to you in any way that is unlawful or illegal or in any way to the detriment of other users or the network.

Data usage under any UK Plus Pass is for mobile internet services and data consumption actually on your handset. It does not include using file to file peer sharing or using your handset as a modem to connect other devices such as laptops and tablets - also known as "Tethering".

UK text usage under any UK Plus Pass is for personal messages from your handset only and not for commercial usage – also known as “spam marketing ".

The General Terms and Conditions of Lebara which can be viewed at www.lebara.co.uk apply to this offer. In the event of a conflict between the terms and conditions of this offer, and the General Terms and Conditions of Lebara, the General Terms and Conditions shall take precedence.


UK SIM TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. UKSIM can be purchased either online at www.lebara.co.uk/uksim or via SMS. All UKSIM plans include 250 UK minutes and Unlimited UK SMS (to numbers beginning 01, 02, 03 and 07), 1GB of UK data, Unlimited minutes and SMS to other UK Lebara numbers.

2. In addition to Clause 1 above different UKSIM passes attract further additional minutes to certain international destinations as follows:

3. All UKSIM passes are valid for 30 days from date of activation. Any unused minutes, texts or data will not carry over on expiry of the 30 days

4. Call to applicable UK and International destinations will reduce your allowance on a per minute basis.

5. All other calls, services and usage exceeding your UKSIM plan allowance will be deducted from your Lebara Pay-As-You-Go account credit at Lebara’s standard PAYG rates, provided you have topped up additional credit. UK calls do not include calls to 0800, 0845 or other "toll-free" numbers or calls to Personal (070) numbers.

6. On expiry, UKSIM plans will auto-renew if you have sufficient credit. If renewal fails, Lebara will continue to try to renew UKSIM for a further 7 days. If you do not want your UKSIM plan to auto-renew, you need to unsubscribe at least 3 hours before midnight on the renewal day. If you have bought your UKSIM plan via sms, you can opt out by texting the appropriate code for the UKSIM plan you have purchased:

If you have purchased a UKSIM plan at www.lebara.co.uk/uksim and chosen the auto-renew option, you can cancel the auto renewal by logging in at MyLebara and following the on-screen prompts.

7. Only one UKSIM plan can be active at any time.

8. Lebara UKSIM plans may be withdrawn or changed at any time in full or in part at the absolute discretion of Lebara. Full notice will be provided on www.lebara.co.uk if changes are made.

9. Lebara reserves the right in its absolute discretion, including where it considers there to have been, and/or there is a suspicion of, any breach of these terms and conditions, any fraud or any abuse of the service, to terminate suspected illegitimate services.

10. If you have subscribed to a country pass for a destination also included in an active UKSIM pass, calls will be deducted first from the country pass.

11. For calls to countries not included in the Lebara UKSIM destinations, calls will be charged at Lebara's standard rates, deducted from your PAYG balance. For the list of UKSIM international destinations please see the table below.

12. The General Terms and Conditions of Lebara which can be viewed at www.lebara.co.uk/terms-and-conditions apply to this UKSIM plan. In the event of a conflict between the terms and conditions of UKSIM and the General Terms and Conditions of Lebara, the General Terms and Conditions shall take precedence.

UK DIALOG SRI LANKA FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. What’s all the fuss about?
Lebara is now offering you discounted call rates to Sri Lanka when calling numbers on the Dialog network.

2. What does the Dialog Promotion include?
The Lebara Dialog Promotion (also known as this “Promotion”) includes cheaper call rates for calls made to the Dialog Network in Sri Lanka (suffix 009477).

3. How can I get my hands on this offer?
Easy, you just need to be a Lebara UK plus customer

5. How long do I get to enjoy the Promotion?
The Promotion will likely only be offered for a few months so get in quick and call your loved ones in Sri Lanka today.

6. The Legal Stuff
a. Other promotional call credit cannot be used in conjunction with this Promotion and no cash alternatives or alternative credits will be given.

Lebara Data Passes Terms & Conditions

  1. A Lebara Data Pass provides you with an allowance of data megabytes (MBs), which can be used for internet access in the UK only.

  4. Your Data pass is valid for either 1 day or 30 days, based on the Data Pass you select.
  5. On expiry of this period, your data pass will be auto-renewed if you have sufficient credit. If you have more than one credit balance, we will access those balances in the order stated above.
  6. If you don't have sufficient credit, we will continue to try to renew the Data Pass for a further 7 days.
  7. If we are not able to renew your Data Pass during this time, we will opt you out of the Data Pass. You will need to subscribe again if you want access to the Data Pass rates.
  8. If you do not want your Data Pass to auto renew, you need to unsubscribe at least 3 hours before expiry.

BOLT-ON FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. What’s all the fuss about?
As from the end of July 2014, Lebara customers who are opted into a data bundle (e.g. holders of a UK Plus or Data Pass) can purchase additional bite size data bolt-ons should they exceed their data usage under their existing pass.

2. How long is this offer running?
The above offer applies to all Lebara data pass customers who’ve active data bundles purchased from 30 July 2014 until further notice.

3. What are data bolt-ons?
The Lebara bolt-ons are bite size bits of extra data that can be added to your existing data bundle. The bolt-ons come in three different sizes; namely:

* 200MB at a cost of £3.00 (SMS opt-in code “B200”)
* 500MB at a cost of £5.00 (SMS opt-in code “B500”)
* 1GB at a usual cost of £7.50 but, for a limited time only, NOW JUST £5.00 (SMS opt-in code “B1GB”).

4. How can I purchase a bolt-on?
Easy, you can buy your data bolt-on by simply texting the relevant keyword opt-in code as indicated above to 38885 (eg. SMS “B200” to 38885 to bolt-on 200MB to your existing data bundle).

5. Can I have more than one bolt-on at a time?
Sure thing! You can add any number or combination of bolt-ons to your existing data bundle; simply add what you need and use.

6. How long do I get to enjoy the bolt-on once I’ve purchased it?
As your bolt-on is connected to your existing data bundle, it will expire at the same time. Please note, due to this, any data purchased under your bolt-on which is not used before the parent data bundle expires will be lost.

7. Can I auto-renew during the promotion period?
No. Once your bolt-on(s) expire, you will need to buy a new bolt-on as and when required.

  5. Weekly Pass: Your minutes are valid for 7 days. On expiry, or when you have used all your minutes, your Weekly Pass will be auto-renewed. If you don’t have sufficient credit, we will try to auto-renew for 7 days or until you unsubscribe. To unsubscribe, you must send the relevant opt-in keyword, then *STOP (for example, 100*STOP or 150*STOP or 200*STOP to 38885), or opt-out via your MyLebara account at least 3 hours before midnight on day of expiry.

  6. Monthly Pass: Your minutes are valid for 30 days. Your Monthly Pass will not auto renew. To get a new Monthly Pass (once expired or when you have used all the minutes), you will need to opt in again. You may only have 1 of each type of pass active during the appropriate subscription period. Passes for Jamaica, Nigeria and Ghana can be purchased via scratch-card/vouchers in selected outlets. Only one Country Pass scratch-card/voucher can be activated per sim card within a 30 day period. To prevent against fraud, any attempt to activate a second country pass via scratch-card/voucher for the same destination on the same sim will result in £20 of PAYG credit being added to the account, rather than the minutes associated with that voucher.
  7. You may only have 1 of each type of pass active during the appropriate subscription period. If you try to activate a second pass using a voucher within the 30 day active period of an existing active pass to the same destination(s), it will add £20 PAYG credit rather than international minutes. This is a fraud protection measure.
  8. Promotional call credit cannot be used to buy Weekly & Monthly Passes.
  9. No cash alternatives or alternative credits will be given.
  10. Weekly & Monthly Passes may be withdrawn or changed at any time in full or in part at the absolute discretion of Lebara. Full notice will be provided on www.lebara.co.uk if changes are made.

Lebara Passes for BlackBerry®

  1. The Lebara Pass for BlackBerry® allows BlackBerry users access to the Internet, e-mail and BlackBerry® Messenger (BBM™) on their BlackBerry handsets.
  2. The Pass for BlackBerry is valid for 30 days from registration or renewal. You may only have one Pass for BlackBerry active at any one time.
  3. The Pass for BlackBerry gives worldwide access to a data allowance of 500MB to use BlackBerry Internet Services, comprising e-mail, BBM™ and internet browsing services. If you exceed this allowance, you will be charged for any additional usage at Lebara’s standard BlackBerry rates.
  4. Please note that the BlackBerry Internet Services do not:
    1. allow internet streaming, e.g. YouTube, iPlayer, music streaming, etc., or MMS, and you will need to buy a separate Data Pass for such activities: please note that you cannot roam on a Data Pass, and will be charged at Lebara’s standard roaming data rates if you do roam; or
    2. allow access to other high-bandwidth sites that are deemed to be using excessive bandwidth. Customers will be warned once before being charged at standard rates; or
    3. provide access to corporate email / or synchronisation with calendar.
  5. Customers must activate their BlackBerry pass by IVR as outlined above; you will be required to load certain BlackBerry service books to configure your device before you can use your Pass for BlackBerry.
  6. To unsubscribe from the BlackBerry Pass, please call the IVR on 40090 from your BlackBerry handset and follow the instructions.
  7. If you have sufficient credit on your Lebara PAYG account, unless you have unsubscribed from the BlackBerry Pass at least 24 hours before the expiry date, the Pass for BlackBerry will automatically renew on expiry.
  8. If you have not unsubscribed by the expiry date, and do not have sufficient credit to renew the Pass for BlackBerry, we will try to renew your pass twice over the next 2 days; if we are not able to renew your Pass, your subscription will be deactivated.
  9. Lebara’s General Terms and Conditions apply to the Pass for BlackBerry, in addition to any RIM terms of service and/or licences accepted by you when you first used your BlackBerry handset.

Lebara Freedom purchased after midnight on 05/08/2014 includes the following limits per 30 day period:

  1. Up to 1000 Minutes to selected international destinations.
  2. Unlimited UK Minutes and Texts to UK landlines† and mobiles.
  3. Unlimited Lebara to Lebara UK Minutes and Texts.
  4. 1GB Mobile Internet.

In the case that you exceed these limits, Lebara will charge you at the standard rate as outlined at www.lebara.co.uk/prepay/rates.

  1. If Lebara reasonably suspects that the offer is being exploited for commercial use or other misuse, such as SIM box use or Mobile tethering (when you use your mobile phone to supply internet access to another device, which is otherwise unconnected by using a USB cable, WiFi or Bluetooth so the other device connects to the internet), your service may be suspended or terminated.
  2. Lebara Freedom is valid for 30 days from activation.
  3. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other Lebara offer or promotion.
  4. Promotional call credit cannot be used to buy Lebara Freedom.
  5. Unlimited may only be used in conjunction with your existing Lebara number and is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
  6. No cash alternatives or alternative credits will be given.
  7. Lebara Freedom may be withdrawn or changed at any time in full or in part at the absolute discretion of Lebara. Check www.lebara.co.uk for the latest information.
  8. Lebara reserves the right in its absolute discretion, including where it considers there to have been, and/or there is a suspicion of, any breach of these terms and conditions, any fraud or any abuse of the service, to terminate services.
